Huli Huli is hands down one of the coolest restaurants and tiki bars in Columbus. From the moment you walk in, you’re transported somewhere tropical. The atmosphere is incredible, with amazing tiki décor, low lighting, great music, and the iconic Moai from the original Kahiki, which is such a fun touch for anyone who knows Columbus history. The drinks are where this place really shines. They’re creative, over-the-top, beautifully presented, and just as delicious as they look. Even the non-alcoholic menu is unique and thoughtfully crafted, so there’s something for everyone. The food is consistently excellent too. The Bang Bang Broccoli is a must-try, and everything we’ve had has been packed with flavor and served fresh. The staff is always friendly, welcoming, and happy to make recommendations if you can’t decide. Whether you’re looking for a fun date night, drinks with friends, or just want to experience one of the most unique spots in Columbus, Huli Huli never disappoints. We’ll definitely be back again and again!

Another Ohio tiki stop: Huli Huli Tiki Lounge in Powell (Columbus). Nice to find a tiki bar in the middle if Ohio. We did have a minor setback, I called a couple weeks ahead of our trip to see if they were dog friendly, I was told that there would be no issue in the rear outdoor bar area. When we arrived it turned out that the area was closed that day. There are a number of places to eat and drink in Powell with outdoor seating, but apparently none allow dogs. There is a free parking lot near by, we were able to park on the street. The food has a strong hawaiian vibe, and was enjoyable. A few classic tiki drinks on the menu, along with several Huli Huli concoctions.

Haven't been to a restaurant with this limited of a menu and lack of cleanliness in a long time. Ordered the Pupu plate: rangoon was almost liquid inside rather than creamy, vegetable postickers were good and the "dipping" sauce was good but very spicy, and the pork belly was good, but could've been cut a little thinner so that there wasn't such a big chunk of fat to chew. I like fat, but it couldn't get crispy enough because of the thicker cut. My husband ordered the lobster rolls with fries. The fries were great and crispy, the lobster rolls supposedly had an aioli sauce, but tasted more of oil and citrus, thought aioli was supposed to be mayo-type based... maybe I'm wrong, but we didn't care for it at all. To top things off, we say at the bar and while eating, 2 employees were fixing the volcano by standing up on the counters with dirty shoes by clean glasses, etc. Even left dirty shoe prints on the counters... even the stainless steel part of the counter! Never did get wiped off before we left and a few drinks were made in that area. Maybe use a ladder next time?? I mentioned workers comp if he fell, but they were too busy laughing about the volcano as the one guy hung onto the

Such a great spot. Drinks are authentic with good presentation and food is great. Never have had a bad experience here! Really cool they have the Kahiki statue, it's a great nod to the og.

Drinks phenominal, food flavor profiles great with minor presentation/serve issues, service average. Sat immediately, low light, good music quietly playing. Nice art. I really like the ambience. Got broccoli. Flavor was great - smokey and tangy sauce, but too much sauce. Definitely a forked dish, but hard to share across the table because the small bowl teeters if you try to poke a broccoli. I got an aloha bowl with tilapia (which is a 10 dollar add-on) and the flavor was absolutely fantastic. Portion sizes great, the fish was perfectly cooked and I forgot to take a photo because I was too busy annihilating my meal. My only gripe here is needing a bigger bowl; thr food kept spilling everywhere because it was too small. Because a large ampunt of the dish is plaon rice, you really need to dig into thst bed of rice in order to portion ot out with the toppings and it got messy. Fellow diner got a similar dish and had the same issue, but said the flavor was fantastic. The drinks were top tier. Absolutrly fantastic work. I was blown away by some of these. I started out safe with a painkiller which was gerat of course. But the ones that floorrd me with how delicoous were the aloha ai
